Køppe cooperates closely with a group of artists who share an interest in the inherent possibilities of materials and the historical qualities associated with traditional crafts and techniques. The artists like to explore the meaning of objects in relation to function and iconography. Another common feature of their works is their focus on combinining tradition with interpretation and  experimentation to create works that hold contemporary relevance.
